Suggested Usage: 

  • Boil to cook and cool in icy water then serve with a dipping sauce.

Storage: 

  • Store at room temperature in a dry and dark place.

Information:

Somen are white Japanese noodles made of wheat flour. They are thin about 1 mm in diameter making them easy to cook. Once cooked, rinse the noodles under cold running water then place them in icy cold water. Dip the noodles in dashi (i.e. a soup stock made of kombu/dried sea tangle and bonito flakes) then slurp, you feel your body starting to cool down in the summer heat.
